I've been told by Bjorn from HP that since I'm using the latest
kernel(2.4.20) plus the latest ia64 patches that this bug doesn't apply.

I personally don't remember what a deadlock is...can someone explain it?

Plus, if I went back to my original supported redhat kernel..their are no
errata for RH2.1AW.
