I've been told by Bjorn from HP that since I'm using the latest kernel(2.4.20) plus the latest ia64 patches that this bug doesn't apply. I personally don't remember what a deadlock is...can someone explain it? Plus, if I went back to my original supported redhat kernel..their are no errata for RH2.1AW. -brent Brent Clements HPC Technology Specialist Information Technology Rice University On Wed, 5 Mar 2003, Jim Castleberry wrote: > RedHat released a kernel update last week to correct a deadlock in the tg3 > driver.
