Is the e100 driver unreliable for EEpro100 cards in SMP machine ? I have had silent SMP hangups when using that driver, but nothing such when running with eepro100 driver. Kernel series 2.4 -- as of lattest RedHat Rawhide 2.4.20-2.25smp-i686. Machine in question is some ASUS with dual P-III and 3x256 MB memory.
