E1000 receiver is stuck

Hi, folks

I'm using E1000 driver version 4.3.15 with kernel 2.2.19
to work with dual port Gigabit adapter on the following
platform:
http://www.forcecomputers.com/products/viewDetail.cfm?productTypeID=2&productID=178

The Gigabit adapter is plugged into PCI-X slot.

Our system is working as a 2-port ethernet bridge, with Intel Giga
ports acting as bridge ports. After several hours of stress testing
which involves passing ~ 250 Mbit/sec traffic through the bridge,
receiver on one of Giga ports is stuck. All packets coming to this
port are dropped. See the attached file for more information. Even
when we stop the test, the receiver remains to be stuck, we cannot]
pass a simple ping through the bridge.

What can possibly be the problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Felix.
