I wonder that you experience the same problem with an older kernel. I have 
only experienced this with 2.4.19. The binary only modules from AVM seem to 
have some bug...

For a workaround from Karsten Keil, you could have a look at 
http://www.suse.de/~kkeil/fixes/8.1/.

If you still have problems with this, please don't post on linux-net any more 
as this seems OT for me. You can get help with these things for example on 
suse-isdn (http://www.suse.de/de/private/support/mailinglists/index.html).
