in fact i want the packets to get out of the system, the whole purpose
is to replace a user-space application just taking the packets out of
the driver and stuffing them into the socket. (With all latency and
stuff involved)

Finally, it seems to be working now, but maybe one more question:
I tried to let the packets have the host's own IP address as a source
address, but then they are discarded - is there any option that i could
set to avoid this?
I can get away with another address, but it would seem more clean to me
with the own address.
