I am in the process of changing the uplink provider on my web server. I currently have 2 IP addresses allocated to eth0 (the old isp) and 16 IP addresses allocated to eth1 (the new isp) During the transition I need to be able to use both network connections. I am having a problem working out how to configure the default routes so that any packets generated by the IP addresses on eth0 go to the old isps router, and any gennerated by IP addresses on eth1 go to the new ISPs router. I have tried all the different combinations of default gateways with different metrics, and bound to devices that I can think of. I tried adding a rule with ip to use a different routing table for the old IP addresses but I get the error # ip ru list RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument Dump terminated I have compiled in policy based routing. I am running 2.4.13-ac7 Policy based routing was compiled in. If anyone can give me any pointers to relevent docs or ideas as to where I am going wrong I would be greatfull.
