Suppress forced loopback of IP frames with local dest-addr

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Folks,

just a quick question:
How can I suppress the forced stack-internal loopback of
IP frames that contain a _local_ destination IP address?
Normally Linux automatically loops back everything destined
for a local address which is generally OK but when testing
network devices or setting up host-internal testlinks using
ethertap for example it makes sense to actually route frames
through the drivers.

Please CC me as I am not on the list any more.
