I don't think so. He is using the wrong router. 

You MUST have the router at the same subnet as the machine that is 
trying to use it. You cannot route through a router if it in another
subnet.

So, if you are using the subnet 133.27.179.224/255.255.255.240 it
starts at x.x.x.224 and finishes at x.x.x.239 so your router must be 
inside that range. It cannot be x.x.x.1 it must be x.x.x.225..226...
until x.x.x.239 or it is not going to be reached.

I think that's your problem...
