DHCP how to provide www proxy infos

I think I've read about a DHCP option like ms-proxy-something
to provide WWW proxy information to clients.

Unfortunatly I can't remember where and can't find it :-(

Browsing the RFCs 2131/2132 there are all sorts of options -
also a default WWW server (without port), hmh.

Is the proxy configuration entirely up to the browser?
