Hello every body, I recently installed RedHat 7.1(Seawolf) on my intel PC. I was trying to ftp to and from this machine with a 300MB file. It hangs my machine in the middle of the transfer. (at about a little more than 100MB was transferred and every time different) Did any one meet this problem before. If so, would you help me? My hard disk is of SCSI interface(IDE motherboard with a SCSI card), and the SCSI interface has a CDROM also. Here are what I think of the causes: 1. Ftpd is buggy, which is unlikely. 2. Buggy kernel FS module. My FS is linux native(ext2fs). 3. Buggy SCSI block device driver. Please help! - : send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org
