configuring scc0 interface

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hello,

I have installed the ACB-IV scc card on suse linux 6.2. and now, when I type
the command

# ifconfig -a

scc0 , hdlc0 and hdlc1 interfaces are seen.But there is no scc0..scc7 files
under /dev directory or any other location.
so how can it be possible?and does that still mean that I installed the
driver properly?

and the next step is to configure these interfaces.but how?
should I use axattach or kissattach?I am confused with the difference and I
want to know when to use which?
and also how can I configure these interfaceses in order to make them ready
to connect to another scc node?

regards,
ece.
