I was just experimenting with the TCP of kernel 2.4.0-test11 It seems there's a problem with TCP connection establishment timeout. When the server is down and my client tries to establish a connection it sends the SYN four times, but never gives up by sending and RST. is that a problem ? has it been corrected in newer kernel releases ? tanx djt2000@inco.com.lb - : send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org
