Constants regarding to IPv4/IPv6 ...

Hi,

where are the constants like IPV4, IPV6, UNIXDOMAIN defined 
(indicating the support of IPv4, IPv6,...)?
I found such defined constants in 'UNIX Network Programmin. Vol. 1' 
from R.W.Stevens.
