Notifying Routing Table Changes

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I require some help on using netlink, to get notified on some changes
occuring in the Kernel's Unicast Routing Table.
Man pages of rtnetlink, says message type RTM_GETROUTE with rtm_flags set to
RTM_F_NOTIFY, will inform the user if the route changes. I didn't understand
how the user will be notified, when a route changes. Is there anyway of
registering some callback function to be invoked upon changes in routing
table.

Can anybody help me on this.

thanks,
Yahya
