Hi,

You need to tell wwwoffle -fetch after wwwoffle -online to start
fetching even if you are online. No need to restart. I just looked into my
old ip-up.local to get it. Also indexing takes some time, so it's better
to at night. My ip-up.local is complete with sendmail, fetchmail, wwwoffle
entries and I used to run wvdial via cron. If you want it, I can send it
offlist.
