using rsh from linux box to cisco box

Hey, folks!

Does anyone have a pointer for me here?

Here's the config on my cisco router, which is named "router-1"

router-1#sh run | i rcmd
ip rcmd rsh-enable
ip rcmd remote-host router-1 10.20.30.84 droisman enable

I log into linux box 10.20.30.84 as user "droisman" and run the following
command:

$ rsh -l router-1 10.20.30.97 sh ver

after a timeout period, I get this error:

poll: protocol failure in circuit setup

I've also tried the following command, which results in the same error:

$ rsh 10.20.30.97 sh ver

Thanks!
