sendmail & name resolution problem

Hello,
with your help, I finally setup my RH7 linux box onto
a large WinNT LAN. They just give me a dynamic IP
address.
Now I can ping and connect by name the WinNT computers
and they can also do the same thing to my computer
(samba & nss_wins).
I wrote a simple C program that hack the IP address
and put it into my /etc/hosts file every time the
computer reboots. I don't know if this thing help
somehow.
I can send e-mail from my computer to everywhere in
the company domain (romtelecom.ro) but I cannot
receive e-mail fom that domain. Is there any trick to
setup sendmail or something else in order to send and
receive e-mail outside the company domain?
Maybe I can use the company mail server as a relay.!!
???
TIA
