Heavy loaded cards

Hi,

We have a highly (network) loaded server, running redhat 6.2.  The card is
using tulip driver.

This is the output of ifconfig (note:IPs in this post are not real numbers)

We are getting tons of overruns, and I do not know how to  fix this
I tried setting the card via the /etc/conf.module, but nothing changed

alias eth0 tulip
options tulip debug=1 options=3 full_duplex=1    

I used the tulip_diag.c available on the tulip site, and it reports the

Is this card in 100 or 10 mode??  Why does ifconfig say 10??

I even changed the /proc/sys/vm/freepages 
from 256     512     768 
to 300 400 50, and nothing changed..

Any ideas??  I have a feeling it is a buffer overflow issue,, where the
card is not able to handle the traffic, but how do you fix that??

Any help is appretiated..
