Linux Tape Drives

Hi All,

I was just wondering if someone can perhaps tell me if I can use IDE Tape
Drives with Linux?

We are looking at one of the HP Tape Drives at the moment, a 5GB IDE Tape
Streamer, but we've been told the IDE drive isn't going to work with
Linux... Do we have to go SCSI or will IDE work?

Regards,
