Kernel Prompts At Boot-Time

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Dear Sirs,

I wish the kernel to prompt the administrator for a secret key while
booting-up. This secret needs to be changed everytime the machine
boots-up and will be used in the "net" module of the kernel.

Can somebody guide me as to how should I go about doing it ..
where to make changes and allocate memory for this secret key ?

Thanks and regards,
Priyank Porwal.
