I'm coming to the masters. :) I have a server program that accepts connections, responds to requests for information and returns to listen mode if the connection is broken. I've tested it between Linux boxes and when the client is an NT box. I can kill the client application 100 times in a half hour and it always recovers. I have a customer who's client program is written in Java on a Solaris box. We've had nothing but problems with it. Does anyone know of any problems with the subject of Solaris, Java and sockets?
