You'd figure someone would make a nice file transfer server that either runs under Apache (so if you had SSL working, you could benefit from secure transfers) or is it's own HTTP server. The HTTP 1.1 protocol allows transfers and, unlike FTP, doesn't have too many issues with tunneling (runs on a single port). Hmmm, sounds like a neat project at least. -- TheBS P.S. I currently use Zope to accomplish something similiar, but I had to write some of my own methods (which are crappy/simple ones at that). -- Bryan "TheBS" Smith, Engineer CONTACT INFO *********************************************************** Chat: thebs413 @ AOL/MSN/Yahoo (see http://Everybuddy.com) Email: mailto:b.j.smith@ieee.org,thebs@theseus.com Legal: http://www.SmithConcepts.com/legal.html - : send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.rutgers.edu
