fetchmail/procmail problems

Hello all,

I have some serious problems with fetchmail and procmail.

In single-drop-mode with mda "/usr/bin/deliver xyz" fetchmail works
fine. But I have to fetch and deliver from a multidrop-account.

If I don't call a mda nothing happens:

fetchmail: 5.0.3 querying pop.odn.de (protocol POP3) at Tue, 04 Jul 2000
20:30:35 +0200 (CEST)
fetchmail: 2 messages for xxxxxxx at pop.abc.de (5554 octets).
fetchmail: reading message 1 of 2 (2250 octets) .fetchmail: SMTP connect
to localhost failed
fetchmail: SMTP transaction error while fetching from pop.odn.de

Sendmail is running and gives the normal results on "telnet mail 25"! By
the way - it is running fine as mta for a whole company-network!

If I call procmail with "mda /usr/bin/procmail" all mails were written
in one mail in the root-account - /root/.procmailrc is on.

The same is, when I poll "is xyz mda /usr/bin/procmail" and there is
"/home/xyz/.procmailrc".

I want to use procmail because of mailing-lists! I Think I can deliver
them with

:0
* ^Sender: linux-admin-owner@vger.rutgers.edu
! xyz@abc-intra.de

But...

If I handle the list-mails with a single-drop-account I can leave
procmail in my linux-nirvana, but then I need to solve the sendmail
problem.

Is there anybody who can help me?
