Ugh... this reboot mentality is definitely a left-over from the
paridgm mycrowslop tends to put into everyone's head :-)

But that is the way to do it... I didn't even need to reboot... just
make it against kernel sources used to make the currently running
kernel and away you go.  Works (almost) flawlessly.
