Re: Unable to mount root fs (UBIFS volume)

Hello,

Has that issues been resolved long time ago or is that link still
relavent to today's kernel mount to UBIFS volume
https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/791663/?

"There currently appears to be no way for userspace to find out the
underlying volume number for a mounted ubifs file system, since ubifs
uses anonymous block devices. The volume name is present in
/proc/mounts but UBI volumes can be renamed after the volume has been
mounted."

Do I need a patch to fix it in kernel 4.19?

Does it has to use rw,relatime in fstab? My rootfs-volume is RO, can
the RO rootfs-volume work on kernel mounting?

Thank you, appreiate your kind advice.

Kind regards,

- jh
