Trying to stop DOSEMU output going to STDIO

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Guys,

I'm trying to run a door game using one of the virtual COM ports, which is SORT of working ok (the X00 fossil loads, the DOSEMU one doesn't).

The problem is that all the screen output goes to STDIO - how do I stop this - I've looked through all the docs but can't figure it out.

Basically I want the "normal DOS screen" to be directed to nowhere, more or less, and just the virtual serial port / COMx directed to STDIO.

How do I do this?

Here's my /etc/dosemu/dosemu.conf:

# cat /etc/dosemu/dosemu.conf

# This file is the system-wide dosemu.conf or the per-user ~/.dosemurc,
# included by global.conf or dosemu.bin.
#
# ./doc/README.txt (chapter 2.) contains a description of the syntax
# and the usage of dosemu.conf and .dosemurc.
#
# The commented-out values are defaults, here for documentation purposes
# only. Options marked [priv] cannot be changed in ~/.dosemurc.
#
# (optional) access rights are defined in

# /etc/dosemu/dosemu.users or /etc/dosemu.users
