what is your DOSEMU version?

After crash the following error appears:

Error: cpu exception in dosemu code outside of VM86()!
...
Exception was caused by insufficient privilege.

I use Xubuntu 6.10. Do you know what can I do?

Give the contents of ~/.dosemu/boot.log after a crash.
Also try dosemu 1.3.5 and see if that still crashes.
