Hmm, I tried applying the kernel patch to 2.6.31. Building the kernel,
modules.builtin came up empty. It appears include/config/auto2.conf is
not created.
A manual  'sed s/=y/=Y/g auto.conf > auto2.conf' fixes the problem but
that can't be right. :) What am I missing?
