Fair question. I'm not a big fan of zlib support myself, but when I ask
about disabling it, someone opposes stating that it might theoretically
be useful for product $foobar and so on. Maybe I should just disable it
without asking ;).

Anyway, I think it makes sense to allow linking the library dynamically.
