Unfortunately a locked card currently will not initalize, so not be open to the ioctl interface. So in fear of doing more harm than good I would first change that. (One thing is reading of SCR is required by linux-mmc but locked cards must not respond to it). Something I'm working on on the side but don't expect anything very soon.
