Dear all, (Please CC me in replies as I am not subscribed.) I have a HP EliteBook Laptop with a Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTS522A PCI Express Card Reader inside and try to use it with a 64 GB SanDisk SDXC memory card on Kernel 4.15.0-45 on Ubuntu 18.04. When I enter the card into the slot the only thing that happens is that I get three lines as follows in the journal: Feb 12 07:56:43 pshp kernel: mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card Feb 12 07:56:44 pshp kernel: mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card Feb 12 07:56:46 pshp kernel: mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card $ uname -a Linux pshp 4.15.0-45-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 29 16:28:13 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux $ lsmod |egrep "rts|sd" rtsx_pci_ms 20480 0 rtsx_pci_sdmmc 24576 0 memstick 16384 1 rtsx_pci_ms rtsx_pci 65536 2 rtsx_pci_sdmmc,rtsx_pci_ms $ lspci -v ... 01:00.0 Unassigned class [ff00]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
