I agree, I'll do this (maybe starting by adding more comment to help enable
on other archs) after fixing locking problem.

OK, you dropped the patch, so follow_page(FOLL_GET) should not called for
hugepages on non-x86_64 archs.

Right, that looks to me a good precheck to skip hugepage.
