Dear Kernel Developer, [1.] Summary lshw sees 12GB RAM but system only using 8GB [2.] Description When I originally installed an additional 4GB RAM into my system a year or two ago, the kernel recognized all 12GB just fine. Somewhere along the line, however, the kernel stopped using all 12GB and started using only 8GB (unfortunately, I have no idea when this occurred).
