[PATCH 0/2] mm: swap: zswap/zcache writeback supporting

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Andrew,

Would you please consider to merge these patches.
It's from Seth Jennings and the original goal was supporting writeback a page
from frontswap backend to the swap device, so that pages can be evicted.

Now this identical patch is needed for zcache, the dependent code is
already in 3.9(marked as broken, see config ZCACHE_WRITEBACK in
drivers/staging/zcache).
So it would be nice to get this small mm changes to be merged in 3.10.

The original post from Seth:
https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/3/6/344
https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/3/6/392

I rebased them to mmotm-2013-03-26-15-09 plus fixing a small issue from
chechpatch.pl
