Just for clarity, this is the rmap write lock.

Thanks for all the work you did finding the root cause here, I
appreciate it.

I think the correct fix is to take the rmap lock on free_pgtables, when
necessary.  There are a few code paths (error recovery) that are not
regularly run that will also need to change.
