OK, so the kernel now builds again for all kernel versions that I support.
Please note that I dropped support for 2.6.32 and 2.6.33: the ever increasing
device tree code made it too difficult to keep supporting those two old kernels.

If someone really needs support for those old kernels, then they can try and make
it work themselves. I'm sure it's possible, but for me at least it is not worth
the effort.

This test build still gives ERROR due to sparse errors, but I tracked that down to
an old sparse version. After upgrading I now get only sparse warnings, so hopefully
when the regular build kicks off tonight it should report something better than
ERROR.
