I am on 3.17.7 (F20 x86-64) with current media_build (git://linuxtv.org/media_build.git) There were no kernel messages indicating failure, same goes for mythbackend. > Do you get problems with e.g. mplayer or vlc or another GUI tool as well? I have only tested it with MythTV. I'll give a w_scan and mplayer a try to see if that combo gives working TV output.
