Ok, that DVB-C part was crap, there's no such tuner onboard. But there's an analogue tuner onboard which seems to be recognized by the current kernel: [...] [ 2.894012] tveeprom 9-0050: Hauppauge model 121029, rev B2F5, serial# 7264773 [ 2.894014] tveeprom 9-0050: MAC address is 00:0d:fe:6e:da:05 [ 2.894015] tveeprom 9-0050: tuner model is NXP 18271C2 (idx 155, type 54) [ 2.894016] tveeprom 9-0050: TV standards PAL(B/G) PAL(I) SECAM(L/L') PAL(D/D1/K) ATSC/DVB Digital (eeprom 0xf4) [ 2.894017] tveeprom 9-0050: audio processor is CX23888 (idx 40) [ 2.894018] tveeprom 9-0050: decoder processor is CX23888 (idx 34) [ 2.894019] tveeprom 9-0050: has radio, has IR receiver, has no IR transmitter [ 2.894020] cx23885[0]: warning: unknown hauppauge model #121029 [ 2.894021] cx23885[0]: hauppauge eeprom: model=121029 [ 2.894022] cx23885_dvb_register() allocating 1 frontend(s) [...] But I have no video device listed under /dev. Is there any information on the analogue tuner and how to get it working or some information on how to start write a driver? I would like to try to put something together - probably killing the card. ;-) Any help and information on that topic is appreciated!
