Nothing :-) I can reproduce this myself. It works fine for all kernels except 3.2 and 3.3. One workaround is to run 'make menuconfig' in the media_build directory, turn on the em28xx modules, and run 'make' to build everything. Why it isn't automatically selected when compiling for those kernels is a mystery to me.
