Doron,

I suggest you to take a look at the past history of Siano's submission at the
mailing list. I'm seeing several things on this series that were already
discussed at the time Uri submitted us his sync patches.

Why do you need a typecast here? msg has already (struct SmsMsgHdr_S2 * type.
