You don't need to do it. They are generated automatically by an script at
linuxtv.org, and stored at:
	http://linuxtv.org/downloads/drivers/

The file is generated only if there were some change at the git tree.
The latest file is always available on this link:
	http://linuxtv.org/downloads/drivers/linux-media-LATEST.tar.bz2
	http://linuxtv.org/downloads/drivers/linux-media-LATEST.tar.bz2.md5

Also, the ./build.sh script of the media_build tree is smart enough to
download the latest file only if the md5sum changes. This is done 
automatically via the "make download" target.
