Well "isn't nice" is an understatement. We can have that as a short term hack, but I don't think that this is a doable long term solution. For this particular case here it most likely doesn't matter, but operation pointer structures are often used to identify a certain class of object. So exporting the functions and then re-creating the constant operation pointer structure in Rust doesn't work in some cases.
