The mtk driver in drivers/media/rc/mtk-cir.c is receive only and has no support for transmitting. Do you have a modified mtk- cir driver or are you using gpio-ir-tx or pwm-ir-tx? The reason I ask is that some drivers take more locks that others, and it might be possible to do something depending on the driver. Sean
