Hi everybody,
 I own a fujitsu-siemens xm 400 (or xm400i), that goes actually quiet
cheap on ebay. In windows vista this express card 54 is working
allright, but under ubuntu (10.10) it's not working at all.
I do not have any clue of how drivers work, so i don't really know if
there is any chance to get this working, but i read somewhere (some
driver file that i can't find anymore) that this card is based on the
dibcom mod 3700 chip. I found this pdf file
http://www.dibcom.info/Images/Upload/pdf/Fiches/MOD3700-P.pdf and i
think that this chip is supported allready. But the card isn't
detected.
You can download the vista-driver-setup from fujitsu here
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download/ShowDescription.asp?SoftwareGUID=324ECAC9-3E1D-49F6-9F0C-26ACF04A9622
, and I attached the driver-setup downloaded from fujitsu and the 2
drivers, that are actually used on my vista system (at least i think
so).

Dmesg just gives me

[ 1709.146353] pciehp 0000:00:01.0:pcie04: Card present on Slot(1)
[ 1717.918036] usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 2
[ 1719.730308] usb 2-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3

and lspci does not give me anything that I can relate to the card.

Well that is it for so far. If you could need any additional
information I try to help.
I would be glad if you had a look on this, maybe the solution is quite
simple and it would be a pity to let this low priced card be
unsupported by ubuntu.

Kind regards,

Rune
