Running Fedora 39 desktop with kernel 6.6.14-200 at the moment.
The Anysee E30 combo DVB-card is detected by lsusb and lsmod. However it
is not working and dmesg gave me this information:
[ 9.170547] usb 3-4: dvb_usb_anysee: firmware version 1.2 hardware id 15
[ 9.170590] usb 3-4: dvb_usb_v2: will pass the complete MPEG2
transport stream to the software demuxer
[ 9.170599] dvbdev: DVB: registering new adapter (Anysee)
[ 9.170601] usb 3-4: media controller created
[ 9.170758] dvbdev: dvb_create_media_entity: media entity 'dvb-demux'
registered.
[ 9.188820] DVB: TDA10023(-1): tda10023_readreg: readreg error (reg
== 0x1a, ret == -95)
[ 9.188828] usb 3-4: dvb_usb_anysee: Unsupported Anysee version.
Please report to <linux-media@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
[ 9.189229] usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_anysee
I found information online that this driver has been broken since kernel
6.1.38-4 so I believe you already are aware about this issue,
but wanted to report this as the dmesg asks me to do, so that you know
there's more than one person who would like to get this working again.
Thank you!
