[PATCH v2] media: imx-jpeg: Add pm-runtime support for imx-jpeg

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

From: Mirela Rabulea <mirela.rabulea@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Save some power by disabling/enabling the jpeg clocks with
every stream stop/start.
Do not use DL_FLAG_RPM_ACTIVE in mxc_jpeg_attach_pm_domains,
to ensure power domains are off after probe.

Changes in v2:
  - Use pm_runtime_resume_and_get instead of pm_runtime_get_sync. Thanks Hans, for pointing it out!
  - Drop pm_runtime get/put from mxc_jpeg_open/release. Enough to do it in stream start/stop.
  - Do not use DL_FLAG_RPM_ACTIVE in mxc_jpeg_attach_pm_domains, to ensure pd's are off after probe. This was masked by the fact that in _v1, mxc_jpeg_release was doing pm_runtime_put_sync.
  - Update commit description
