I propose to do a short presentation on this theme, showing how the new RC subsystem was conceived and discussing a little bit about possible evolutions of it. One of the things I'm interested on getting feedback is about how Linux embedded devices are currently handing IR. All Linux TV sets, set top boxes and other device types have IR, but I've seen no contributions from embedded developers at RC code.
