Hi everybody,
according to the linuxtv wiki pages support for the device mentioned in the title should be in the mainline kernel since version 5.7. I'm referring to this page: https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TerraTec_Cinergy_S2#Update
Unfortunately, my device which has the exact usb id as mentioned under the update heading, i.e. 0ccd:0105, does not work and dmesg gives the following messages:

I once got the device to work with some sort of a 5.1.0 kernel fork hosted on BitBucket, but the sources have been removed and I couldn't get the new one to compile anymore (https://github.com/crazycat69/media_build). That's why I know, that the device has the newer m88ds3103b montage demodulator chip and should work under linux, but doesn't seem to be recognized properly. I added the maximum verbosity output of lsusb concerning the device. What else could I do to investigate the issue?
