Yes, but this one is good because it works without a debug kernel.
Still, at this point I'm not sure it's worthwhile to pursue this any
farther. I'm convinced it's a hardware problem. Do you want to continue, or are you happy to switch computers and forget about it?
Thanks so much for your help Alan. I also think this is definitely a bug in the hardware. Let's leave it at that, I'm happy.
