Unfortunately this one comes only with some Asus OEM mobos, which decreases the user base hacking on it, and another eventually related problem is the WIFI wireless stuff on it. These days we have multiple chip configurations, where likely every single one can do substantially needed switching for another one later in the row. Asus in common keeps tracks quite well, but we have also some very different devices with the same PCI subsystem ID already we must come over by eeprom detection, not that easy if you don't know what is encoded exactly where, the chip vendor is ignored with his suggestions, even this is not public and a puzzle, and all are having fun ;) Some seem to think right now it is only bad history these days ...
